Our Kundinyasa Yoga teacher training is not only for becoming a yoga teacher but an opportunity for self exploration and improving health. Yoga has been shown in clinical studies to reduce stress and calm the mind. After sincere practice over time, yoga brings deep states of relaxation. This helps with our ability to handle the challenges of life in a more calm, balanced, and flexible way. Through practice we can achieve a deeper understanding of the true nature of existence, and connect with our Infinite Self beyond the body and the mind.
What makes this training special is we offer dual certification: Kundalini Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga based on the teachings of Yogi Bhajan and the Ashtanga Vinyasa system from Krishnamacharya. We offer in depth instruction on asana including alignment, sequencing, modifications, props, and hands on adjustments that are not offered in Kundalini trainings.
What sets us apart from other Vinyasa trainings is that we teach more than just asana or physical practice. We offer a rich multitude of meditation, mantra, and pranayama techniques used in Hatha and Kundalini.
Who should take the Kundinyasa training:
The 200hr Kundinyasa training offered is nothing short of transformative. This teacher training is for people who want to advance their yoga practice; which includes refining of asana, study of yoga philosophy, and practice that helps develop a deeper connection to themselves. The first 200hrs of a yoga teacher training is about “Self” discovery. It is a comprehensive Self actualization program. You receive a personal numerology based practice to be done daily, and a flower essences to assist in your growth and awakening (Bach or FES). Our graduates develop themselves through their own practice and are very skilled in leading fun, challenging creative classes. The training also prepares new teachers for the business of teaching yoga as part of their career path in the healing arts.
This training is a great supplement to those who have a certification in Kundalini Yoga or Hatha and want to broaden there scope of understanding.

Maui 11 Day Intensive May 9-19
10 Nights- Includes: Morning Sadhana, lectures, workshops, Kundinyasa and Ashtanga based vinyasa classes, evening sound healings, beach outings, sacred labrynth walk.

1-The 8 limbs of yoga fundamental components to an authentic yoga practice as prescribed by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. Yamas (restraints), Niyamas (observances), Asana (physical), Pranayama (breath control), Pratyahara (internal focus), Dharana (Concentration), Dyhana (Meditation), and Samadhi (merging with the Infinite Energy that pervades everything).
2– In-depth understanding of the Kundalini Yoga system with extensive exploration of Kundalini Kriyas, Meditations, and Pranayama. Comprehensive instruction in teaching Kundalini Yoga Kriyas including asana, dristis, mudras, bandhas, mantra, meditation, and pranayama.
3-Use of props, hands on adjustments, and posture modification (injuries and limitations).
4-Proficiency in instructing Asana- Alignment Principles and Sequencing Techniques
5-Physical Anatomy/Western Anatomy (muscles, bones, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and joint mobility) and Physiology (organ systems and what they do as well as postures that affect them)
6-Energy Anatomy and Yogic Anatomy (7 Chakras , 5 Koshas and 10 Bodies of Kundalini Yoga)
7-Ayurveda 101 Intro to Ayurveda including personal and seasonal Doshas and yogic lifestyle practices
8-Personal Practice Consultation with Numerology Reading
8-Sound and Mantra- Learn Both Vedic (Sanskrit) and Gumurkh Chanting
9-Humanology-Yogic philosophy on understanding men, women, childbirth, intercourse, and relationships.
